Telehealth &
Online Therapy

Online therapy, also known as telehealth, offers a compassionate and convenient way to access counseling from the comfort of your own space. Like traditional in-person therapy, it provides a safe and supportive environment to explore life’s challenges and work toward healing. Many individuals choose this option for its flexibility, whether due to busy schedules, childcare needs, travel limitations, privacy concerns, or even safety precautions related to COVID-19 and other illnesses. Through your cell phone, laptop, computer, or iPad, online therapy allows you to build a meaningful therapeutic connection while working consistently toward your goals. It offers a space to focus on your inner world without the added stress of commuting or logistical hurdles. However, it’s important to understand that online therapy may not suit everyone. For those facing clinical emergencies or acute issues—such as suicidal thoughts, domestic violence, severe trauma, dangerous self-harming behaviors, or substance use and eating disorders requiring more intensive care—higher levels of support beyond weekly sessions may be necessary. While I take every precaution to ensure confidentiality through secure portals, I must acknowledge that no technology is completely immune to glitches or breaches. These occurrences are rare, but I want you to feel fully informed about the nature of this medium.

If you live in Florida and are unsure whether online therapy fits you, I encourage you to reach out. Together, we can discuss your needs and determine if this approach aligns with your journey toward healing and growth. You’re not alone—help is just a call away.
